PPC’s Building Resilience module focuses on the pro-active, preventative aspects– giving people the support, confidence, tools, techniques and resources to manage life and work challenges before they become critical.
Individual and organisational resilience are recognised as the key competences in today’s business environment, as home and work demands and pressures get ever greater. Whereas traditional development is focused on responding to specific problems such as time management, stress or workload. PPC’s Building Resilience module focuses on the pro-active, preventative side – giving people the support, confidence, tools, techniques and resources to manage life and work challenges before they become critical.
PPC’s Resilience Solutions
As well as PPC’s unique Training+ concept and ‘Lunch and Learn’ module, we also offer specialised Coaching to build Resilience, and Resilience Audits, commonly used in senior level recruitment or promotion.
Resilience Audits
This consists of a 90 minute psychological assessment which looks at how resilient an individual is. Areas assessed include:
management of pressure
attitude to risk and uncertainty
management of stress,
tension
apprehension
structure of taking in information
tenacity
optimism
The audit includes completion of PPC’s Health Risk Assessment questionnaire and can also be combined with a psychometric assessment and individual feedback.
Resilience Coaching
PPC can provide a qualified coach to help build or maintain resilience. PPC’s ‘resilience coaches’ are specialised in supporting individuals, and take a holistic view of resilience, supporting all it’s components – work, life, health, learning and lifestyle. All PPC coaches are accredited and have management expertise.
Resilience Training
Building Resilience - Managers
This one-day training workshop defines the components of resilience and supports managers in dealing with the numerous work challenges associated with their role, allowing them to remain focused and in control. Moreover they will be given tools and techniques to take the skills learnt and apply it to their own teams, enhancing core management skills and better supporting peers and direct reports. This workshop can be delivered to managers from your organisation and specifically tailored to the challenges they may be facing.
Building Resilience - Employees
This one-day workshop defines the components of resilience and gives employees a range of tools and techniques to build and maintain resilience and cope with personal and work challenges. It provides a clear framework employees can take and easily apply. And like the workshop for managers, the workshop can be tailored to organisational or team requirements to ensure it is 100% in line with business priorities
Physical Resilience
This one-day workshop looks at the physical side of resilience – areas such as health, lifestyle and diet, and how this can work in tandem with psychological resilience. Attendees receive tips and individualised advice on how to stay healthy and stress free as much as possible and receive ongoing access to an information portal with help, advice and support.
Lunch and Learn
This workshop is also available as a 1 hour ‘lunch and learn’ designed to build awareness to the maximum number of participants
Training+ provides you will 1 year’s access to PPC Coaching following completion of the workshop, embedding the skills learnt into real life situations and maximising return on investment of training programmes.
